Robinson Marketing and Public Relations was founded nearly 20 years ago by Kevin Woo. After several years of doing the corporate thing he decided to take his marketing and public relations skills and combine them with his entrepreneurial spirit. Over the years Robinson Marketing has worked with clients such as Sun Microsystems, Oracle, Intuit, JavaSoft, Asempra, Solix Technologies, Unify, Daegis, Perkin-Elmer, LSI Logic, Engenio and Zmanda.
In 2006 Diane Miller joined Robinson Marketing and Public Relations and manages our Seattle office.
Kevin started Robinson Marketing and Public Relations nearly 20 years ago after leaving the corporate world where he headed the PR agency team for EMC and served as head of corporate communications for Fujitsu. He has worked in a wide variety of industries including: information technology, biotech, network television, publishing and professional sports. Kevin has worked primarily with clients that make hardware and software for data storage/data management, backup and recovery, open source, enterprise software, tools that modernize software, and security.
He’s also a freelance journalist and regular contributor to Forbes, Entrepreneur, Law.com, Legal Technology News, California Lawyer and One+. He’s written about a variety of topics including venture capital, entrepreneurism, management, angel investing, home loan modification scams, marijuana in the workplace and more than 70 travel destinations throughout the world.
Kevin is a big baseball fan and, in fact, Robinson Marketing and Public Relations and his dog, Jack, are named after his hero, Jackie Robinson. He is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing.
Diane Miller
Diane has more than 12 years of experience in high tech public relations, marketing, and corporate communications. Diane manages daily client activities and contributes to overall account strategy. Diane joined Robinson Marketing after working for LSI Corporation for more than a decade, primarily supporting their Engenio Information Technologies storage division and consumer products.
Diane is a graduate of the University of Washington, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration.
